RenterFinder.com charges only two fees - a Profile Listing Fee and a Platform Service Fee. Both fees are paid separately by the landlord and the renter. There are no hidden charges, no registration fees, no subscription fees, and no commission escalations. Both fees are transparent, fixed, and listed publicly on this page. This section explains exactly what each fee covers and when it is due.
Both landlords and renters pay a one-time Profile Listing Fee of ₹125 (discounted from ₹499 - 75% off) separately. This fee activates their profile on the platform for a period of 3 months. During this time, their profile - including their preferred city, BHK type, monthly budget, occupation, and contact details - is visible to all users on RenterFinder.com.
The ₹125 Profile Listing Fee is non-refundable. After 3 months, profiles are automatically deactivated to ensure only active listings remain. If a landlord or renter has not found a match within 3 months, they can re-activate their profile (within 6 months) for another cycle at ₹99 (re-activation fee). The Profile Listing Fee is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
Both landlords and renters pay a Platform Service Fee of 12 days' rent separately, split into two parts. The initial 6 days' rent is charged in advance (non-refundable) to arrange the formal property meeting - this confirms both parties are serious and ready to deal. The remaining 6 days' rent is charged at deal closure / the rent agreement is signed / advance paid to landlord. After the deal finalization, the second part of Platform Service Fee should be paid within 7 days (start from deal closure day).
For context, traditional brokers in India typically charge between 15 and 90 days' rent as brokerage commission (mostly without GST). RenterFinder.com's 12-day Platform Service Fee (including GST) is significantly lower than the market norm. The Platform Service Fee is inclusive of all applicable taxes and is non-refundable
3 Match Options Guarantee: If the deal does not close after the property meeting, and both parties report this within 7 days, RenterFinder.com will provide 3 additional match options within the next 3 months - at no extra charge. The original 6 days' meeting charge already paid counts towards all 3 further attempts. If none of the new matches close within 3 months, the account deactivates and the meeting charge is not refunded.
If a profile has been deactivated for any reason (self- deactivate or after the 3-month validity expires, etc) and the landlord or tenant wishes to re-list within 6 months of deactivation, a re-activation fee of ₹99 applies. This reinstates the profile for a further 3 months period (start from reactivation date). Re-activation within 6 months is significantly cheaper than a fresh ₹125 listing - making it cost-effective for users still searching. The ₹99 re-activation fee is non-refundable and inclusive of all taxes.

To avoid any ambiguity / confusion, here is a complete list of charges that RenterFinder.com does not levy: no registration fee, no monthly subscription, no per-listing surcharge, no fee for browsing profiles or making initial contact, no token advance or booking fee, no separate GST amount, no other surcharge and no hidden platform charges of any kind. The only fees are the ₹125 Profile Listing Fee (paid separately by both landlord and renter), the ₹99 re-activation fee (for re-listing within 6 months of deactivation), and the 12-day Platform Service Fee (paid separately by both landlord and renter, split across meeting and deal closure).
All payments made on RenterFinder.com are non-refundable. The Profile Listing Fee activates a service (for 3 months only) by showing your profile to other interested clients. The Platform Service Fee is charged in two stages - at meeting arrangement and at deal closure - and is non-refundable at each stage. However, if the deal does not close after the meeting and both parties report it within 7 days, the 6 days' meeting charge already paid is used to cover 3 more match options within the next 3 months at no additional cost.
