How Landlords Find a Good Renter - Landlord Tenant Enquiries, Tenant Match Service

For the first time in India, landlords do not have to wait for renters to come to them. The Prospective Renters' List on RenterFinder.com is a searchable directory of genuine renters who have proactively uploaded their requirements - including their preferred city, BHK type, monthly budget, move-in date, occupation, and family composition. A landlord can browse this list, find a renter who matches their property, and reach out through us - without paying a broker.

Each renter profile on the list is self-submitted and contains the renter's details, the city and locality they are searching in, the type of property they need, and the monthly rent they can afford. This gives landlords a clear picture of who is actively looking - no guesswork, no broker negotiations, no wasted site visits. Landlords can filter by city, budget range, and BHK type to shortlist the profiles most relevant to their property.

Both landlords and renters pay a one-time Profile Listing Fee of ₹125 (discounted from ₹499 - 75% off) separately to list their profile for 3 months. This nominal fee ensures only serious users are listed - eliminating spam and inactive profiles. Both parties also pay a Platform Service Fee of 12 days' rent separately - 6 days to arrange the meeting, 6 days at deal closure. No hidden charges on either side.

Why use the Renters' List instead of a broker?

Traditional brokers in India charge 15 to 90 days' rent as commission. On RenterFinder.com, both landlords and renters pay a flat 12-day Platform Service Fee separately - 6 days to arrange the property meeting and 6 days at deal closure. You browse profiles yourself, on your own time.

Why the Prospective Renters' List Changes How Landlords Find Tenants in India

In the traditional Indian rental market, the landlord is almost always passive - putting up a "To Let" signboard, calling a local broker, or posting on a general classifieds portal and then waiting for enquiries. The result is usually a slow, unreliable process where the landlord has little control over the quality or suitability of the renters who contact them. RenterFinder.com's Prospective Renters' List reverses this entirely. For the first time in India, landlords can proactively search for a renter online - browsing genuine profiles of people who are actively looking for rent, shortlisting those who match their property, and reaching out through us directly.

Every profile on the Renters' List is self-submitted by a renter who has paid a Profile Listing Fee of ₹125 - a nominal amount that filters out inactive users and ensures every profile represents a genuine, motivated renter. Each profile includes the renter's preferred city and locality, the type of property they are looking for (1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK, Studio, independent house, etc.), parking requirements, and occupation. Landlords can filter the list by city, budget range, and BHK type to find profiles that match their specific property, saving significant time compared to facing random broker enquiries.

The Renters' List will cover across India - from Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Pune to tier-2 cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Bhopal, Nagpur, Indore, Ranchi, Surat, and Coimbatore. Profiles are auto-deactivated after 3 months to keep the list current - landlords browsing the list can be confident that every profile they see represents someone who is actively searching, not someone who rented a property several months ago and forgot to remove their listing.

Traditional brokers in India charge between 15 and 90 days' rent as commission - an amount that frequently runs to ₹30,000 or more in metro cities. On RenterFinder.com, both landlords and renters pay a flat Platform Service Fee of 12 days' rent separately - 6 days rent in advance to arrange the property meeting and 6 days at deal closure when the rent agreement is signed. A landlord who uses the Renters' List to find their own tenant, without any broker involvement, pays only this transparent fee and nothing else. Both parties negotiate rental terms directly between themselves, with no agent interference at any stage.

Landlords who want to list their property for rent alongside browsing the Renters' List can do both on RenterFinder.com - upload a property profile so renters can find them, and simultaneously browse the Renters' List to reach out to suitable tenants proactively.
